A major French group's first investment in biotech

Context: a major French pharmaceutical group was investing for the first time in the manufacture of biotech medicines.

Intervention: owner's engineering support for a €750 million investment, through to plant handover. Up to 6 Axys-Network experts on site held the key roles:

• project director, reporting directly to the board of directors and working with the construction management contractor;
• building engineering and deployment of pharmaceutical solutions;
• plant management;
• selection of partners, overall steering and resolution of installation and functional gaps.

Our experts covered every area of the plant, from pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical utilities to aseptic processes.

Result: the plant was handed over in routine production.
